Happy 2024!

The Benson Sisters are putting an uneasy 2023 behind us and jumping headfirst into 2024! We have new reps at A3 Artists Agency (info on our ‘Contact’ page), the strike is over, and we joined a writers’ room for a few weeks on a new show… which we cannot talk about (yet)! We’ve also decided to continue our streaming adventures on Twitch, more on that soon…

We’re finishing up a new spec pilot that we’ll devote an entire blogpost to once it’s finished. All we’ll say is it’s a period drama set in 1955 cause, you know, putting things out in the aether doesn’t seem to bode well for any creative endeavor. Besides that, we’re planning to write a horror feature this year. It’s been awhile since either of us worked in the feature world, but we’ve been itching to write this particular concept for over a year!

Our reps have foamed the runway and set up some great meetings, which means we’re excited but overwhelmed with the amount of grooming we’ll need to undertake just to look presentable again post pandemic. Post strike. Post… well, life.

What else? Oh, and we’re super into collecting Disney’s Lorcana cards right now and will eventually even learn how to play. Gideon (Julie’s dog) is doing well and still looking very Ewok-y. The Benson family is going on a much needed vacation in May to Hawaii. Shawna and I have never been and you know we’ve already blocked out a day to visit Jurassic Park. Hey, we’re going to Pearl Harbor too, so lay off us!
